Meet Our Staff
Andrew grew up a Christian most of his life, before becoming lukewarm for a time in his early teenage years. During a service at his church in Dayton, Ohio, Andrew was impacted in a major way by the Holy Spirit moving upon Him. When getting up from the floor, Andrew had changed from that encounter with God, never the same again.
Andrew knew that he was being called into full time ministry, and later enrolled in Rhema Bible College without ever seeing the campus. After graduating the 2 year program at Rhema, Andrew and his wife Kandyse, moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to pastor Cincinnati Word of Faith Church.
Andrew is passionate about seeing people set free from the darkness that this world offers, and seeing people personally experience the love that God offers them.
Kandyse grew up in another denomination, in the suburbs of the Detroit, Michigan, never knowing about the salvation that comes through Christ. After going through a lot of trouble and trials as a teenager, Kandyse was introduced to Christ at 17, and she was never the same again!
She worked full time for a Christian boarding school in Alabama that specializes in helping troubled teens for several years. There, Kandyse helped teenage girls overcome the same issues she faced at that age, and encouraged and taught them about developing a relationship with Jesus. During this time, she knew without a doubt that God was calling her to be in full time ministry.
After graduating from the third year program at Rhema Bible College, Kandyse and Andrew moved to Cincinnati to pastor Cincinnati Word of Faith Church. Kandyse has a passion for equipping and encouraging people to be victorious in every area in life through Christ. She also desires to see people experience the freedom that only can come through Christ.
Kandyse and Andrew love their two furry “children”, their huskies Kona-Kai and Kaia-Kai.
Amos grew up going to church as a young child but as he got older, found himself just going through the motions. His relationship with Christ was based off of watching others around him experience God, but not truly experiencing it himself.
When he was a young teen going through that transitional period in life, he got very bitter and angry with God. He fell into sin and backed away from God. But the Lord was always there for him patiently waiting for him to come back into a relationship with Him.
God was preparing and putting things into place for Amos the entire time. Amos stayed lukewarm for awhile, and then suddenly he had an encounter with the Holy Spirit, and God radically changed his life.
After experiencing a true relationship with the Lord, and serving Him faithfully, God called him to be a worship leader. Beyond leading people into God’s Presence, Amos is very passionate about loving the lost and bringing God’s love to the streets of Cincinnati.
We are blessed to have him on staff with us!
